My photographic journey began with the desire to see families connect more, love often, and truly see that their family is a love story that needs to be celebrated by professional photographs. Beginning in the film era, I had the joy of helping families, high school seniors, children, and businesses see how much they matter with the opening of a portrait studio in Illinois.
I studied early childhood education and film photography and now have over 40 years of experience in both areas. That has significantly helped my business, Songs of Life Photography, become a great place for families with children of all ages to share their moments with me in order to capture beautiful real-life photos.
After many years of dedicated photography in Illinois, the mountains were truly calling. I packed up and made the move to Montana which built the foundation for the rebrand of Songs of Life, Real Life is Beautiful.
I imagined a studio that would have relevance and longevity in the community, that would focus on capturing life's real moments, helping families see that their life is truly beautiful and that being present is one of the most important things you can do.
My hope is that it will become an essential, must-have, photographic experience for the Bozeman, MT area. Where the residents and vacationers come year after year from all over the world looking for meaningful family time and I am here to capture that for them!
