We are very excited to announce that we have officially launched our newest division of Songs of Life Photography Studio, called Bell Pro Portraits. Developing this division has always been on the radar and in the works, but we decided to up the time frame for it a bit due to the need we saw in the business community.

Realistically, most people will judge a person and a business by the first impression they have. If your business portrait was taken on an iphone (even though some of them do a great job!), has a yellow cast, and has lighting that does not flatter you, what will potential clients think? To some, it might not matter at all, and I wish that was the case all the time. I wish people gave others the benefit of the doubt more and looked passed the first thing they see.

On the one hand, you can have the best head shot image, the best website, and the best foot forward, but if you turn out to have poor customer service, poor people skills, and are not very easy to work with, then your head shot image did not accurately portray who you are, or what your business is all about.

And what about the person who used that iphone? The person who used an iphone for his or her head shot image, and has blurry images on his or her website but has the best customer service, great people skills and is fantastic to work with might not be getting people in the door. Why? Because potential clients have certain expectations about the person and their business based on what they see.

So, really, it is important to have a great head shot, and great images on your business website, BUT, it is JUST as important to have great customer service, great people skills, and be easy to work with. BOTH sides are equally important.
