The location was perfect and so is the family. Hoover Forest Preserve in Yorkville, IL is a very popular place for portrait sessions, and this is the location John chose. John, a senior at Yorkville High School, is a member of the Madrigrals, loves history, is hoping to study education at Illinois State University of Michigan State, and will miss his friends the most after graduation. He is well on his way to the next season in his life!
We happened to stumble upon Jay, a forest preserve employee, (and one we also blogged about) as he was burning the very invasive honeysuckle bushes. I took advantage of the situation and tried something new. Portraits in the smoke! John was very agreeable, which I certainly appreciated!
A family session is included with our senior sessions, too! Each family can choose to have their session at a different time so the senior has the spotlight, or have their portraits taken at the same time as the senior session. The Harker family chose the same day!
Congratulations to John as he completes his last year in high school! And, thank you to the Harker family, for giving us the joy of being your photographers.
