Do you think that having a photo session for the two of you is something only engaged couples do?
Most people think of engagements when you hear the words, "Couples photo session", but this is not always the case.
Granted, engagement photo sessions are the most popular type for couples, but we usually think outside the box and go further. Why not have a "couples" photo session at any stage of your journey together? Whether that be in the dating stage or celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary.
Either way, your love story started with the two of you and needs to be celebrated and cherished with a photo session.
Deb & Bill
Deb and Bill are two of the best people I know. They wanted to celebrate this time in their lives just because, and I was very honored to do it.
The day we chose was relatively warm (in the 30's), the sun was shining, and the snow was magnificent.
Glen Lake Rotary Park was the location and even though we had to step through knee deep snow in some areas, it was worth it.
Having three very playful fur babies is so much fun! And, a lot of work. Photographing them got me moving and made for some great shots of them in action. We actually managed to get one of all of them being relatively still. :)
And, off they go!
The Bottom Line
Having your portraits taken and your story celebrated does not have to happen when a milestone, anniversary, or engagement happens. Celebrating can happen just because of the two of you. Your lives should be celebrated with a photo session so years from now you can look back and re live the moments the photos were taken. You can fall in love over again as you connect more and discover more about each other.
