I know that many of you are not thinking about a portrait session right now. I know that the basic essentials like food, clothing, and shelter, and how bills are going to get paid are foremost on your minds.

It is like that for me, too. Still, I want something to look forward to. I want to be able to celebrate with families when the shelter in place is over. And, I really want to see families together celebrating with a portrait session so the moments that are captured will bring them joy.

Here is something to look forward to!

Short and Sweet

Pictures in the Park

Financially speaking, many consider a photo session a luxury. Something that is not "essential". But, I would beg to differ. I think it IS essential that families celebrate their love and beauty together and have the ability to look back on those memories every year. So, for me, having a portrait session every year to showcase the growth of your children, the slight differences in appearance, and the interaction between all of you is valuable and priceless.

The same thing applies to your children. Capturing every milestone, the differences in their appearance every year, and the expressions they show you is priceless and should be remembered.

And what better way to do that than through photography.

 

If this moment had never been captured, I wonder how it would be remembered, if at all?

In keeping with the desire to celebrate with you and understanding the financial climate of many households today, we created a few options!

Primarily, we believe in providing tangible art pieces of your family and children that can be seen and loved in the home. We are a full service studio and desire to be your guide through the entire portrait experience. With our new sessions, we will still be a guide and we are still providing top notch service. Our primary focus, though, will be on shorter sessions for children and families who only need a handful or two of digital files to create small prints and share on social media.

Pictures in the Park

How it works

  • Held on specific days/times 5x a year
  • 20 minute session
  • One location chosen by us
  • All digital files included and delivered via download
  • $179 plus tax

Short and Sweet

How it works

  • Held Monday- Saturday every month
  • 20 minute session
  • In the studio or on location in Oswego or Yorkville-your choice
  • All digital files included and delivered via download
  • $249 plus tax

 

 

 

The main differences are cost and the ability to choose your location and day and time. With our Pictures in the Park sessions, the only availability and location is the day/time specified. With our Short and Sweet sessions, you can choose an outdoor location in Oswego or Yorkville, or choose to come to the studio, AND choose the date and time during the week or on Saturday according to our availability.

 

Both sessions are more candid in style, but we also offer guided posing, too, and you will walk away with fun memories of your time together. This is something to look forward to!

Since both sessions are shorter than our Legacy Sessions, they are best for immediate family members only. If you wish to have extended family in the session, feel free to set up an additional 20 minute session for that!
