Upon meeting the Tran family for the very first time, I was taken in by three very special friends. Max, Camille, and Carsen. We were celebrating their grandmother's birthday with a portrait session in our Oswego, Il studio. All a little shy at first, but as time went on, smiles emerged, expressions changed, and life was all at peace again.
The ultimate ending for our first session together, was the JUMP at the end. It is often challenging to capture multiple children in the air at once. No matter how many times we try, some are in the air, and some are on the ground. But-Max, Camille and Carsen were up for the challenge, and in my opinion, aced this challenge!
As with all our family portrait sessions, we capture the group, as many individuals as we can, and as many different subsets as we can. Since this was Cora's birthday celebration, she was the center of attention and received the most imagery alone. Also important, though, is capturing mothers and their daughters as this "set" does not happen very often. Especially if the daughters are grown.
