Hugs, Kisses & Air Time
Who stays inside when it is zero degrees outside? Not us! When planning a session, we take weather, date and time into consideration. Here in Montana, though, a little cold weather just means wearing a snowsuit, gloves, jacket and hat!
No need to reschedule; just go with the flow. The forecast called for close to zero temps the day we met, but that did not deter this family from showing up. Cooper was dressed to a T in the warmest snowsuit and we all donned gloves and warm coats to be outside in the elements.
Have you ever had to wake your one year old up when he or she was sleeping in the car? Often, children are a tad disoriented and unhappy when they wake up, and Cooper followed suit-but only for a short time.
He got right into the routine of being hugged and kissed a lot! Air time was plentiful, and soon he was his cheerful self.
The snow provided a stunning background and was perfect for their attire. All this family needed was a few images for their Christmas cards and we succeeded.
Originally, our plan was to utilize Glen Lake Rotary Park along the trails and get in a lot of variety, but we changed course. The open field right at the entrance to the park provided beautiful scenery and the perfect spot for a few photos.
The cold and freezing temps did not deter us from providing Emily, Emily and Cooper with a memorable experience of this time in their lives.
